Tonfa and Switchglaives are my top 2. They cover all the bases - good damage (vitality or ki), great moveset, feel fast and super intuitive to use and look very flashy. It's earlier and a small window. You also kinda have to watch the enemies' stance and weapon type to be a parry God in Nioh 2. It does require some skills and missing can be severely punished which boggles mind why TN nerfed it's relative usefulness in the sequel without balancing parry to stuff like Arc of Chaos, jitsu spams etc.
